Bindi

Bindi is our resident female, black Standard Poodle, her birthday is July 3, 2023. Her black fur has gained a unique hue as she's reached adulthood that makes her look silver in some lighting. She is a healthy height and weight sitting right around 52 lbs and standing at 23.5 inches shoulder height.

Bindi is a happy-go-lucky girl with a personality almost as big as her smile. Uniquely, Bindi has been literally smiling ever since she was a puppy. It may look scary at first glance as she bares her bright white teeth, usually wagging her head in addition, but it really is a privilege to be greeted with a big Bindi smile. Some things Bindi loves are running at full speed through the woods, playing with other dogs, and swimming, but her most favorite activity is anything involving an orange Chuckit!® ball. Bindi is our most prominent guard dog on the property and her deep bark makes a great impression on strangers. Although she is capable of sounding scary, she is truly one of the sweetest dogs ever. She's a great cuddler and is always down to join me for a snuggle on the couch. At initial meetings before she is certain if a person is permitted to be on the property, Bindi often behaves shyly, but once she is sure the guest is allowed to be there she will practically be crawling into their lap. Bindi is wonderful with other animals, never showing any aggression towards other dogs, though she can be timid if being chased. She also lives with 5 cats and a small flock of chickens, which she pays no mind to.  Bindi is an extremely fast learner (as is expected for the breed) and is equipped with numerous tricks and abilities. Nothing motivates her more than that ol' Chuckit!® ball. Bindi’s first litter was born April 6, 2026.
