A look into the lives of the furry residants here at SLCW.
At SLCW we are currently the home of three dogs, Bindi, Perdita, and Smokey. Out of the three only Bindi and Perdita are in our breeding program. The mates for our two dams belong to friends and therefore live off-site. SLCW is located on a 6 acre stretch of land that is primarily forest. Our dogs love running full speed along the terrain. The dogs in our breeding program are fed Life's Abundance® premium dog food, providing a well rounded nutritious diet to our precious pups. They are also fed dehydrated or cooked meats and high quality proteins, typically chicken, turkey, beef, or eggs, especially during gestation and nursing periods. Doing so provides extra needed proteins and fats as their bodies work to grow new life. They are also supplied with NuVet Plus Canine Wafers, providing them with immune boosting antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, herbs and the like. During nursing they are supported with Oxy Momma® supplements providing herbal ingredients which support milk production and nourishment for the litter. In the summer our furry friends enjoy racing from woodchip pile to woodchip pile at the back of the property, playing attack the water, as it shoots from the hose, kiddy pool plunging, tug of war, frisbee catching, and games of chase around the main yard.
